I've been a fan of Indian food for 35yrs and eaten it in many countries. I was one of the first customers in The Moghul when it first opened in 1988 and it was good then. On my most recent visit last Thursday evening I wasn't disappointed- Danny has introduced may new dishes-It was evident that this restaurant has taken Indian food to the next level. Many Indian restaurants use the same sauce for all the dishes- the end result is that everything tastes vaguely the same. We had 2 main courses & sample dish and every sauce was different and clearly made individually-the quality of the ingredients and use of fresh spices was evident. I can honestly say that this was one of the best, if not the best Indian meal I have ever eaten. The restaurant is modern and clean- gone is the flock wall paper and booths ( though i must admit to liking the booths!) Prices were very reasonable given the quality and attention to detail. In my opinion the Moghul is a cut above the majority of Indians out there who are still serving the same old madras and vindaloo out of the same pot-10 out of 10!
