Bilash Balti – St. Annes-On-SeaWhat a difference the renovation has made (you can tell I've not been for a while!). Used to look a bit seventies but bang up to date now and very comfortable. Went for a friend's birthday on a Saturday night and the place was jumping. As with most Chinese restaurants, the service was fast, friendly and efficient -- not a common combination in this country. Recommended, especially if you haven't been since it's been done up.
Lou-Shang Cantonese Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaMy wife & I have visited the Olive Tree three times in the last fortnight, I think that says it all! The food & service is first class & the staff are extremely friendly & knowledgeable. A long overdue Greek restaurant in St. Annes with a great atmosphere.
Olive Tree Brasserie – St. Annes-On-Sealike the fact that this place seems to be open all day. when I'm starving and missed lunch its just the job!
Seafarers Restaurant – St. Annes-On-Sea6 of us dined here last night and had a great meal in one of the fylde's best hotels. I would recommend Cafe Grand!
Cafe Grand – Grand Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaThis is actually a criticism rather than a recommendation. My husband, Daughter and i went to the Moghul (orchard Road St Annes) last night. we were seated at a table right at the back away from other tables. This of course should have started alarm bells ringing i suppose. The service was incredibly poor and slow. We sat in front of our dirty plates for 15 munutes whilst the staff studiously ignored us. I have to add that the owner was in there at the time . There were hardly any other diners and there was no real reason for the delay. After waiting for another 10 minutes for the bill, my husband had to go to the bar and ask if he could settle it. the food wasn't too bad, nothing particularly wrong with it, but we will not of course be returning. We eat out every week and like to try new places, it's a long time since we've had such a poor experience.
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaExcellent, excellent what more can i say? From the meze starters to the traditional home made Baklava the whole Greek experience came to life. Although it was very busy we enjoyed the Greek atmosphere and were also pleased to have the opportunity to learn how to dance "The Zorba" (what fun we had!) For a little bit of Greece in a corner of St Annes we will recommend to everyone. We were so impressed we have booked for the Greek night. Can't wait for more fantastic food, plate smashing and more dancing. OPA and YAMAS!
Olive Tree Brasserie – St. Annes-On-SeaWhat a lovely evening. Without going on and on I can not fault anything. From the time we arrived to the time we left perfect, and believe me I am picky. A very wonderful gastronomic experience served by very friendly staff. If you’re looking for everything Greek this is the place for you. I will be back. (Bring on the belly dancers)
Olive Tree Brasserie – St. Annes-On-SeaWhat a lovely meal experience! I was looking for a new place to go when I found the Olive Tree Brasserie Restaurant on the Internet. I’ve decided to take the risk of driving from Poulton to St Anne’s and try a place that I had no information about. Well, what a great surprise! Everything was perfect: the restaurant is beautifully decorated, the staff were very pleasant, the food outstanding and the Greek music on the background completed the nice atmosphere. The restaurant concept is quality food and attention to details: the pitta bread was warm, the crockery was lovely, the food presentation impressive and the taste to die for! Portions were perfect and the bill came with a piece of Turkish delight. The waiting on staff work with a smile on their face while the chef does some shy Greek dance moves in the kitchen. After the gorgeous early bird 3 course I had my coffee on a comfy leather armchair and to tell you the truth I didn’t want to go home. I’ll be back in two weeks time!
Olive Tree Brasserie – St. Annes-On-SeaWent last night Monday night and absolutely brilliant have been several times before definitely one of the best Indian curry house's ever and what a bargain price. Sunday/Monday and Wednesday 4 course set price, well recommended. If you love curry you will love Gemma's. staff so friendly as well.
Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaWe have been visiting this restaurant for the last 10 years and throughout that time the quality of the food has not varied - A1. The ingredients are clearly fresh, the service friendly and the prices more than a match for any other establishment in the area. Highly recommended.
Bilash Balti – St. Annes-On-SeaWhat a lovely place to dine. lovely staff lovely food , and was happy with the bill for 4 people which two had start mains soft drinks and coffee was £21.90 very impressed. :-)
Antons – St. Annes-On-SeaAntons cafe bar St Annes, i found my experience at Antons a pleasant polite environment with helpful staff that are more than willing to help you out. The food presentation was delightful and was fresh good tasting food. The atmosphere was really warming and eventful with a good music style set in the background. The decor was charming , and all this for a very reasonable prize. My Mamma Mancini Chicken Caesar salad which was more than enough and beautiful £5.odd. I was happy to pay the prize of my salad because it was the nicest caesar salad iv ever had. ! I hope the best to Antons cafe bar and all the staff.
Antons – St. Annes-On-SeaStill generally good value for money, but seems like the prices keep going up whilst the portion sizes are going down. The bar is normally understaffed too...quite often just 2 people working on a massive bar, which can mean quite a long wait especially if people are ordering food.
Trawl Boat Inn – St. Annes-On-SeaWe try to get to the Bilash at least once a fortnight. We have been to Indian restaurants all over the country and we can honestly say the Bilash is one of the best. The portions are very generous and good value for money. Check out the Chicken Shashlick, highly recommended.
Bilash Balti – St. Annes-On-SeaI have eaten at Margherita's several times over the years and can honestly say i have never had a bad meal there & the service is always the best. I often go for the early bird too, which is just as high quality - much better than the food/service you ever get at Tiggi's!
Margherita – St. Annes-On-SeaThe Moghul and undergone a refurb and has a much more modern and contempory vibe. As usual the service was excellent, fronted by host with the most Danny. The menu range has increased. Cleverly the Moghul tries out new dished by giving them as complimentary accompaniments. Those that work are then added to the menu. We tried some side dishes that we had never had, lentils and ochre which were great! We washed it all down with a nice Chianti and Kingfisher beer. If you want an Indian meal in St.Annes this is definitely the place!
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaGreat Food, Great atmosphere, just great ! oh forgot to mention that Singha beer is Great as well. well worth the drive to get there Paul, Preston
