Brilliant meal (Sunday Lunch) and wonderful staff
Coast Brasserie @ The Glendower Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaNot been for a while. Sadly this will be our last visit. It still doesn't know what it wants to be because a Spanish?? Tapas it isn't. Tasteless . Expensive The texture of the special smoked fish pate left a lot to be desired. I'm so glad I didn't order the £18 6 oz steak like the table next to us did. The minute steak looked like a piece of shoe leather on top of a plate of frozen chips ... really? Sadly It wasn't a £65 well spent.
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesAbsolutely loved our dinner on Sunday, Sunday dinner with a bit of a twist. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and goid value for money. Will definitely go again. Staff so friendly to .
Coast Brasserie @ The Glendower Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaLovely little Bistro style cafe. Great food and very accommodating .. but my favourite thing was that they are completely dog friendly inside and out.. just visiting St Anne’s for the weekend but will definitely be back and would recommend
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesHad a meal at this interesting restaurant last night. Tapas delicious as usual the gambas Al pil pil was perfectly cooked and spiced and the haggis and black pudding lollipops amazing. The patatas Bravas was not good. I am used to crispy potatoes but they were greasy and soggy. My friends had steak and chips. The chips, we're delicious and the garlic mushrooms very tasty. I would recommend this restaurant and will be back again in the very near future.
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesExcellent
Coast Brasserie @ The Glendower Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaAnother excellent evening, made extra special as The Coustics Duo Band were playing. Cocktails were fab and on offer when we visited last Friday. We ordered tapas and all were delicious and freshly made. A great evening out, thank you.
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesWe picked this restaurant as the reviews on TripAdvisor were very good. We had a selection of Tapas which were all on par with dishes we've had in Spain, beautifully presented and piping hot. Deliciosa! We ordered the cheapest Merlot which again didn't disappoint. The table next to us ordered a burger and a pasta dish which looked very good. Although 54 was quite quiet it had a nice feel about it and the staff were attentive and engaging. We enjoyed our visit so much we booked for breakfast the next morning, the full English & Manx Kippers didn't disappoint. We will definitely be back next time we are in St. Anne's.
Fifty Four – Lytham St. Annes8 of us went for breakfast, food was lovely all came out at once, the 2 girls waiting on were very friendly and pleasant. Going to it book again for lunch/dinner
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesBooked a table, but after ordering drinks we talked to the waiter about dealing with a nut allergy and were told point blank that the kitchen would not make ANY accommodations...so rather than possibly dying we left!
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesLovely meal. Thank you
Coast Brasserie @ The Glendower Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaWe visited on a quiet (and wet!) Saturday and was greeted by a very warm reception by the restaurant team here. We shared a bruschetta bread to start which was really tasty and fresh, perfect! Then rump steak frites on the specials board was a good lunch portion and flavoursome, would recommend foe the price and generable reasonable value for money for well prepared food. Recommend!
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesWe had 5 items off the tapas menu including, Prawns, piri piri chicken thigh, Bruchetta, pattats bravas, ribs, and haggis and black pudding bon bons. Now I like my tapas and have visited a fair few places locally some excellent, some good, and some mediocre. Fifty four is up there with the excellent ones, the food here is beautifully cooked, well presented, and very tasty. I will definitely be visiting again.
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesTasty food, good service and accommodating of our little dog. Would definitely come back here.
