Superb Chinese! Mr Chan (Charlie) is a fantastic host and it's a very child friendly place. Waiters & Waitress are all students but good at what they do and extremely polite. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Mr Chans – St.HelensHaving been a big restaurant lover for many years, I love to come back to this place. However we now choose the Sunday buffet as the prices on the main menu are a tad steep.
Dragon and Phoenix – St.HelensNice little no nonsense restaurant, good prices nice atmosphere. I would visit again.
Dragon and Phoenix – St.HelensThis has the potential to be an excellent restaurant. The building itself is stunning and the decor is impressive. However, the service is mediocre, with too many wrong orders, a shortage of smiles and, admittedly young, staff who have clearly received very little training in the art of dealing with the public. I imagine the place will improve - the Ormskirk Le Frog is brilliant. I will continue to go there, rather than St Helens for the time being, in the hope that the management straighten out this sadly lacking franchise!
Le Frog Bistro – St.HelensNot the finest surroundings but certainly the best Chinese restaurant in Merseyside. Mr Chan is a perfect host and creates delicious dishes at a reasonable price. Probably the reason there are so many Thank You cards above the bar!
Mr Chans – St.HelensI think Cathay Dynasty is a nice place to dine the service was lovely the waitresses were very polite and helpful. I certainly think they should be getting a very good pay for the way they were so helpful, the manager seems to be very harsh on his staff and the way the service is given out which I think is very well done
Cathay Dynasty – St.HelensAhhhhhhhhhhhh......absolutely outstanding....you gotta try it it's fantastic
Palace Balti Tandoori – St.HelensI went there for a surprise 50th for my dad a few years ago. Very nice food and very nice people. Crackin cosy pub.
Bottle And Glass – St.HelensGreat place to eat when skint... ie students like myself. Cant beat scampi and chips!!!
Chipmunks – St.HelensThe food is always excellent. There is always a wide range of specials to chose from and they also have an impressive range of wines
Bottle And Glass – St.HelensHas changed ownership 2003, Sunday eve was a buffet which when booked we wernt told about. Food average from menu not the buffet. Quite expensive for the standard of food & service
Ruam Thai – St.HelensVery pleasant eating experience - good quality food, well presented by helpful staff
Bottle And Glass – St.HelensI have had the pleasure of eating at the Ruan Thai a dozen or so times over the past several months. The food on every occasion has been nothing short of delicious, a real treat. The Thai staff are absolutely delightful and friendly although not overly attentive. A small but excellent restaurant owned and operated by Thais serving authentic Thai fayre. Bon Vivant
Ruam Thai – St.HelensDecent authentic Spanish food with a very good menu. I found the restaurant rather cramped and the service not as attentive as it could have been. We also felt rushed to leave - to be honest it was a Saturday evening but I would have thought after spending £133.90 on a meal for 2 we would not have been rushed out at 9.15 within 10 mins of finishing our desert. That spoiled what otherwise would have been a very enjoyable meal. Bon Vivant
La Casa Vieja – St.HelensThis is one of the few restaruants where price really justifies the meal. This family-run restaurant is a must for anyone who loves, or wants to try, authentic Spanish food. You simply can't find any other place in the Merseyside area making the same tapas, mains and desserts. During our last visit we enjoyed a selection of tapas that were incredibly varied and delicious, from grilled sardines to patatas bravas, skewered monkfish wrapped in savory ham, and crusty bread served with garlic aoili. You'll be spoiled for choice with desserts - favourites are the Spanish bread pudding and an assortment of HOME MADE ICECREAM, HOME MADE fruit ices and lovely fresh fruit. This place is well worth the visit. Give yourself a treat, and give it a try. You will not be disappointed. No, I don't work for them, or owe them a favour - just love good food!
La Casa Vieja – St.HelensWonderful food, great atmosphere. The only problem is they don't take bookings for less than 6 people so it's very hard to get a table, particulalry at the weekend.
Bottle And Glass – St.HelensThis was a great meal i am sure to go out there again with my mob its great if you wanna laugh cos the team behind the bar are great . Before you go touch up on your spanish Hasta Leugo
La Casa Vieja – St.HelensWords cannot explain must go and try for yourself!!!!
