The food was very good and the staff were extremely friendly but we did find the pub be too cold so my wife kept on her jacket throughout the meal.

I visited with 3 friends for lunch. The food was tasty and service was friendly and efficient without us feeling rushed.

We hadn't been to Waggon & Horses for a while and was surprised to see the menu wasn't as large as previous visits, food wasn't bad but wasn't exceptional, meaning unfortunately I wouldn't rush back

Visited for lunch and found the pub to be even colder than the staffs lack of greeting. People were sat with their coats on, and some left without eating. To be fair we were offered a cramped table near a radiator, but asked for a booth and were told it was reserved. Waited over thirty minutes for food, and when we asked, it came out straight away but was only just warm. In addition the scampi was not available. Overall we were disappointed and will not return.

The night was really good excellent food fantastic service really good value for the money, staff could not do enough for us excellent.

Great traditional pub with good atmosphere, our favourite. Salt and pepper chicken wings are best on the planet
