I visited La Lupa with my husband recently and had a fantastic evening - great wine, fabulous Italian food and lovely staff. We'll definitely be returning - I may have found my new favourite restaurant.

La Lupa – StalybridgeWent with my wife and daughter last night as a birthday treat to myself, place was suitably busy, but service and food was prompt and steaks delicious. Hadn't been since Enzo was sadly killed, and we had bad reports of it as "Aqua", so avoided it, but we thoroughly enjoyed it, and will certainly be going back. Enzo did better garlic bread though, hand made that bubbled and crisped up, so only gets a 9/10. :)
La Lupa – StalybridgeVisited first time 30th July 2011. Food: excellent. Atmosphere: friendly. Service: Very Good. Prices: Good. Wine; Didn't try; Driving! List looked good though. Must get a taxi next time. Will definitely add to visit again list.

La Lupa – Stalybridgehave visited this pub a couple of times and had very good meal so having visitors from AUSTRALIA I rang early one morning to book a table for 9 at 3 PM Saturday and was told by Joe ok your in. we duly arrived and the girl took our order starters etc from the 9 people not long after another girl arrived to inform us that they don't serve off the main menu until 6PM i was astounded as i was not told that when i rang in in fact our friends from Australia were very annoyed, the man called Joy was so dam arrogant and uncaring we nearly walked out we eventually spent £125 for fish and chips and steak sandwich from the lunch menu we were disgusted at the attitude of the man called Joe i bet they don't print this unhappy table of 9

La Lupa – Stalybridgewe have visited La lupa on a couple of occasions recently and have not been disappointed. All food is prepared fresh so be ready to wait but when it comes it is well worth it , would recommend the stroganoff - divine. good selection of wines to complement the food
La Lupa – Stalybridgeabsolutely gorgeous traditional Italian food, at very good prices, lovely cosy place with a great atmosphere, and friendly staff. me and my husband are regulars at la lupa and encourage our family and friend to try and they have never been disappointed
La Lupa – StalybridgeFive of us had a splendid meal at reasonable rates. Wheel chair friendly and very people friendly too. Great pastry used in all pizzas meals and the extensive menu was as good as any big city restaurant. Well done, we'll be back!
La Lupa – StalybridgeHad Sunday lunch at the Waggon & Horses Sunday 31st October, it's great to find a real pub Sunday lunch, real beef and great vegetables cooked to perfection and gravy to die for. Looking forward to our next visit (it won't be long)

La Lupa – Stalybridge.I went to La Lupa on friday 19th march with my partner and daughter, after reading all the great feed back that the restaurant had received i was surprised that our trip there was a disaster and we will never step foot in there again, the food was OK, apart from my daughters dessert, that i saw the waiter make behind the bar. Then put it into the microwave, it had ice-cream on!, so it looked like slop in a bowl when it was brought to our table, we had to wait 20min for drinks even tho there was 2 staff waiting on 3 tables, and not one person spoke to us apart from taking our order, not a friendly service at all, never again!!!
La Lupa – StalybridgeWe have visited La Lupa twice in the last 2 weeks. It was so good the first time we went back and were just as delighted. You don't need to go to Manchester it's right here in Stalybridge. You can feel the love coming out of the kitchen. Mmmmm
La Lupa – StalybridgeWe had our 20th anniversary do here. They close Mondays but opened specifically for our celebration. I love the Napoli region of Italy and the food is as good as being there. The staff are very attentive & the chef will fit in with any dietary requirements. Renato meets & greets each person as if they were old friends. I love chatting to him. The four pictures don't show the recently renovated upper floor, ideal for private parties. I recommend the spaghetti vongole(clams). My partner enjoys the pizza (they have their own pizza oven, not all restaurants do). I just wish it was walkable from Mossley as their wine selection is also excellent.
La Lupa – StalybridgeWe went to La Lupa at the weekend. This was our first time and most of didn't even know about it. The atmosphere was warm and friendly just what you expect of an italian eatery. As there was a big group of us we all ordered different starters and mains all was excellent not a bad word said. The waiting staff was brilliant and catered to our every need. Worth a visit as this is a little hidden gem!
La Lupa – Stalybridgemy wife and i visited la lupa twice, the first time was passable, but the second time it was very poor. the minestrone soup tasted sour, and my wife had the halibut which was completly over cooked. my overall impression is that the food was poor. we will not be going back to la lupa again.
