Me and my partner went for our anniversary and really set the mood. A little peice of Italy right on our doorstep. We're definately going again. I reccomend this place to anyone who appreciates good food

Al Fresco – StockportGreat menu - excellent range of dishes, great food, great service and good ambience - we'll definately be back!
Amici – StockportFaboulous place. Saw add in the Guardian and City Life. They also have another Restaurant in Bramhall. They are in Cheadle Village as well. Very good atmosphere. BYO policy.
JAS JAS JAS – StockportThe best Italian Food in the Stockport area. The staff, service and atmosphere is excellent and definately well worth a visit, although I suggest you book in advance.
Al Fresco – StockportA fantastic meal although we found we were sat very close to the people on the next table but this can't be helped because of lack of space. Well worth a second visit - or even 3rd or 4th!!
Jasmine House – StockportA very cosy restaurant - food and ambience very nice - worth repeat visits
Al Fresco – StockportVery friendly staff who are interested in their customers and aim to provide a more individual service. Excellent food.
Donatello Pizzeria Ristorante – StockportNeed cheering up and decent food?Book a table!Food is great, plenty of fish specials and a nice Pollo Casanova. The service is excellent ,The staff / owner are very knowledgable as well as helpful.Often prepared to make up a dish for you, that coupled with the fact that they are mad as 10 dogs makes for a good night out.
Donatello Pizzeria Ristorante – StockportNice to have an Italian that's not stuck in the 70's.I don't think any of the staff are Italian but the the pasta dishes are always good.Particular reference to the Penne Con Salchicche which is gorgeous. The house wine is easily quaffable as well!
Marmaris Turkish Cuisine – StockportI can see I'll have to change this weekly. This is Town's problem,it is so inconsistant. The food is usually very good depending on which chef is on.The Thai curry especially! But due to the kitchen size the wait for food can be unbearable, often defeating the idea of a lunchbreak as you food arrives by the time you have to go.Tables usually have to be booked at the weekend, but the Stella is the best on draught in HM.
Town Cafe Bar – StockportJust a follow up from my last review. We went on New Years Eve and had the best time ever. The 9 friends I took who hadn't been before are itching to go back again as soon as possible. This is the best restaurant I have ever been to. Try it!
Amici – StockportExcellent food, with light crispy tempura perfectly cooked, not too greasy and obviously done in very fresh oil. Staff were very helpful, courteous and offered to substitute bean curd for meat in almost all their dishes to make them veggi friendly - top marks and highly recommended
Siam Village Restaurant – StockportWell - where can I start! If you are a bit like me - a late 80's person, you will love this place. It's right back to the good old "dine and disco" - fabulous! You really need a few of you to go here - about 10 minimum. You book your table - order your food a few days in advance - good choice of food by the way. Enter on the night and just wait for a bit party. The food is served quickly and efficiently and is of excellent quality. Staff are attentive and keep drinks topped up always. Then when everyone in the restaurant has finished eating - the disco starts! Tunes are not for the modern clubbers - more the old time clubbers from the 80's - things like Come on Eileen etc... real feel good tunes. I went with a party of 20 - and have just booked New Year's Eve there - a party of 10 and I am sure everyone will have a great time. First Class!!!
Amici – StockportThis has got to be the finest restaurant in Stockport if not Manchester!! The food is fantastic and the service is A1. The owner David makes you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble for him. If you don't like what you see on the menu he will do his up most to accomodate you. The building is Air conditioned and as it is only a small restaurant it can sometimes be a little chilly so take a jumper to wear just in case. I recommend the Dim Sum which has the biggest prawn toast I have seen!! Enjoy!!!!!
Jasmine House – StockportI can't believe I'm the first to have something to say about this wonderful Italian restaurant!! The two waiters who I think are the owners are entertaining as well as helpful and co-operative. Gorgeous food, wonderful wine, decent prices and a lovely warm friendly atmosphere - BELISSIMO!!
