The Huntsman Steakhouse – StockportWe booked on the second night of opening, wonderful meal, returning in November for a birthday celebration and cannot wait. The steak was beautiful along with the accompanying sauces. So nice to have a nice restaurant in Hazel Grove.
The Huntsman Steakhouse – StockportHad a lovely meal, staff were very welcoming & attentive, food was cooked well & the cocktails were lovely! I had the vegetarian flatbread & my husband had the steak & Steiner deal which was good value, he said it was one of the nicest steaks he’s had. Would definitely recommend & would definitely return!

Really tender, cooked to perfection, cut like butter. Definitely recommened the mac and cheese side and blue cheese sauce. A really good addition to Hazel Grove, will definitely be going back.

The Huntsman Steakhouse – StockportWe visited The Huntsman Steakhouse on the opening night and it was wonderful. Really intimate place with a good atmosphere and nice decor. The baked camembert and brie bite starters were delicious and beautifully presented. The fillet steak was one of the best I have ever had, and I'm fussy about my steak! Cooked perfectly and with a good choice of sides so there really is something for everyone. We also had the house cocktails which were also well presented and very tasty - highly recommend the English Garden. We will definitely be back I can't wait to try the ribs :)
The Huntsman Steakhouse – StockportWe had our first meal at the Huntsman on the second night of opening. The atmosphere was warm and friendly the staff were charming and very attentive. The food was excellent with quick service from ordering. I had a rack of lamb and Mike had the fillet steak both cooked exactly as we ordered them, just melted in the mouth, delicious!! Not silly money for the quality of the food exceptional value for money. I also tried possibly the best Porn Star Martini I’ve ever tasted, and a superb Salento Rossi Passito red wine. We have already booked again for this week. I would highly recommend a visit you won’t be disappointed !!
The Huntsman Steakhouse – StockportUnbelievably good food. Our steaks were booked to perfection and value for money wise it is incredible. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Would recommend anyone to go and give it a try
The Huntsman Steakhouse – StockportI was lucky enough to get a table for the opening night and I wasn’t disappointed! The service and food were fantastic. I had crispy belly pork bites and rib eye steak with chimichurri sauce and it was cooked to perfection. My partner had baked Camembert and fillet steak with peppercorn and also couldn’t fault it. We loved the vibe too - great music in the background but not too loud so we could still chat and the waitress was friendly and efficient. We’ll definitely be back

Gnammy Italy – StockportThis is the second time that I have been to Gnammy Italy for a meal, this time with my family. We had a great time with attentive staff, fabulous food and a visit from the very lovely chef. I. Love a family restaurant and the family vibe here is unmistakeable. I would recommend, especially the Carbonara!
Gnammy Italy – StockportWe love it at Gnammy, lovely relaxed atmosphere and great food. Good service from friendly staff, the pizza garlic bread starter half tomato half cheese is great to share leaving enough room for the delicious Cacciatora! Cannelloni also spot on!
Gnammy Italy – StockportHave visited several times to get their amazing pizza as a takeaway. Really sad that they no longer sell via justeat / deliveroo / uber eats or similar because I'd definitely buy from them more often if I could get it delivered. Finally had an excuse to dine in a few weeks ago (28th July) and Paola was an amazing host - very friendly with my group and accommodating to their special requests. Was sad that her legendary Tiramisu was not available (that she'd boasted about on a previous takeaway visit), but all of the food was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by the whole group. Sadly if I hadn't had those previous great experiences it would probably make my most recent visit (13th August) my last ever! Paola was not serving our table; the person who did struggled with most parts of the interaction. Not sure if she's new, had a bad day, or everything just stemmed from the menu change (happened between my visits), but we experienced glitches during taking our orders (e.g. asking for drinks orders before presenting the drinks menu; needing to come back and clarify what was ordered, and not recalling which 2 people - in a group of 4 - ordered items requiring cutlery changes) and generally very poor service compared to what I'd generally expect at any restaurant. It also took a long time to be able to submit payment (by card) after getting the bill, even though the restaurant was not busy. Overall the service experience was a big disappointment, especially when contrasted against Paola's. I was also left disappointed by the menu change itself. Although it's still packed with lots of tasty options it looks like they've had to cut down on portion size to avoid raising prices too much? It's a shame because I had practically the same order on both occasions, but the one from the new menu was an absolute shadow of its former glory both in terms of portion size and enjoyment; I noted that all members of my party during the latter visit were similarly disappointed by the sizes of their portions (2 of the 4 had not visited previously). Overall, the food here remains a culinary delight - even if it's not quite as awesome as it was. The service (from Paola and her family at least) is also great. But like all of us, they appear to be trying to find ways to make ends meet at the moment and that might negatively reflect on the end result? 2 things I'd love to see: - Let me place takeaway orders online via your website (even if I need to collect, it's way easier to place an order online than via phone) - Publish your menu on your website!
