Fantastic, best Italian restaurant in Sunderland, quite small but the food, atmosphere and friendly staff make up for it. It will always be a firm favourite with us. Superb!
Tosca – SunderlandThe food here is pleasant and the staff are friendly and efficient. The restaurant is spacious and is situated right on the promenade so can feel chillier in winter months, but offers a pleasant view of the beach in the summer.
Little Italy – SunderlandWhat can I say! The food was fantastic the service was fantastic the Indian larger (kingfisher) was a very nice pint indeed. Can? wait until the next time i go there for a meal
Midnight Moon – SunderlandFirst class food and service meals are very large (well done if you can eat a full one) best pub meal in the north east
Wavendon The – SunderlandMarcello's was impressive, if only for the lavish decor! More of a couples place I felt - quite romantic, and nice selection of dishes on the menu. A little more expensive than some places but very nice
Marcello’s – SunderlandOne of the best Italian's in the town centre, especially chicken dishes. Happy hour also offers value for money
Luciano Ristorante – SunderlandLa Toscanina is good because their Happy Hour lasts an hour later than most places so offers value for money. The selection of food is fairly basic, but good quality and decent sized portions. A small restaurant and often popular with parties, can seem a bit cramped, but staff friendly. Worth a look.
Tosca – SunderlandSunderland's finest restaurant. All round excellent ambience, food and service.
Luciano Ristorante – SunderlandA very pleasant atmosphere, a great place for students to meet up with friends for a drink, and ever for the more mature adult to go for a quite drink to get away from the noise pollution overcrowding the outside world. Entertaining music for people of all ages. Accommodates a variety of people. Dance nights, indie nights, busker nights, band nights, this bar is truly a credit to Sunderland city centre and i personally spend a lot of time here, very friendly management and bar staff get along with everyone to make everybody feel comfortable and at home.
