The food was very good, cooked by Italian chef and the prices were reasonable. The staff and the owner were extremely nice and friendly. I would definitely go back again and recommend it to friends.

It was a most amazing experience dining at DA GINO RESTAURANT food was exceptional Staff were fabulous so attentive nothing too much trouble , atmosphere was Brilliant we couldn't fault it at all. We celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary on Valentine's day and we couldn't have chosen anywhere better. Da Gino – Sutton ColdfieldOur favourite restaurant. It is expensive, but the food is so good that it’s very much worth it. Anna at the “front of house” sets the tone for a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and Da Gino always seems like a family business as the rest of the staff are so kind and attentive without being intrusive - they let you enjoy the meal and relax. My wife and I think this is the best food for miles around.

I had friends with me and they too were surprised by the lack of good service particularly as I had recommended the restaurant. It was though the people serving really didn't want to be there!!
Da Gino – Sutton ColdfieldWe live in Streetly. Visited here a couple of years ago when it was good. After visiting tonight for our sons birthday we have never had such poor service at a restaurant. We were asked to sit and look at menus in bar area. We sat there for nearly 20mins past our table time. We asked if we could look at menu at our table instead. It was 40 minutes before someone took our starter(after we asked if we could order) food took half hour to arrive. We had to ask for extra wine glasses to be removed from table to make more space. Waitress was quite abrupt when we wanted to discuss wine available. Considering this is about 20 minute walk fro our house, we will not be going back there. Service was terrible,not once did we get asked if we wanted more drinks( we had to ask) We didn't get asked if meal was satisfactory. Would rather travel further to enjoy our family time/ celebration. Would certainly not recommend this restaurant.

It's reputation is second to none and we booked in anticipation of a wonderful Christmas dinner which they delivered in spades. Italians are all about family and the staff made us feel like we had our feet under the table of the largest family christmas dinner in Christendom. It goes without saying that the food was brilliant and served in a timely manner and my abiding memory of the day will be the chef who was looking out over his happy extended family from the pass with a smile which said"Job well done".
