WOW ! I have often come here with family and friends if we want a meal and it never disappointed. But ever since they had a refurbishment everything has just gone BETTER ! It now looks fabulous when before the the looks wasn't one of it's main features. The food is top class and my plates are always left clean. The staff are delightful, Mr.A.Ahad and Mr.M.Ali (that's not all the staff obviously, but two of the main ones I get on with) and always are very polite and lovely to speak to. I would rate it 5/5 !

The food was absolutely disgraceful. I found a hair in my soup, which was also cold. When complaining, the manageress was rude and obnoxious. Not only were we standing around waiting for 40 minutes regardless of my wife's back problems but when finally seated it took a further hour before our starters came. After the starters FINALLY arrived, the main courses were shocking, to say the least. Vegetables were practically rotting on the plate and the potatoes were dry. Related to this, the plates were filthy which was very off putting. However, the puddings were lovely and the waiting staff were excellent and very apologetic. i recommend you go somewhere else to avoid the disappointment and devastation we experienced. SORT YOUR PUB OUT.

very good food and staff, good as anywhere else, but very expensive to use on a regular basis, prices need to be reduced by 15% at least, then this place will be a roaring success

terrible place rude staff i ordered 5 breakfasts one was a vegi breakfast i recieved iy with a vegi sausage and a piece of bacon on top......... when i commented and said i'd ordered vegi they took it away took bacon off and gave it me back.......obviously i complained to a tut and a grumpy sorry terrible never going back again.

Kababish was absolutely fantastic. Staff were lovely and polite, food was cooked fresh and was authentic and piping hot when it reached the table. Will definitely dine there again. Thank you for a brilliant night out.

Food and staff were great. The one thing that I do feel I need to say is that the kitchen hygiene wasn't of high standards. We were sat opposite the 'chef' and whilst cooking he was eating (had to mouth spreads bacteria) and he licked a spoon used to stir a dish then replaced it in the food. I for one will not be dining there again, neither will the 3 families I attended with.

Always had consistently good food here and the staff are all really friendly. Good standard menu and large choice of 'specials' on offer. Plenty of seating available even when they're really busy with lots of nooks and crannies to choose from.

What a dive ! This USED to be an excellent place to eat with good decor, good food and pleasant staff...NOT ANY MORE. I wouldn't go there again if someone paid me to. Firstly you have to pay BEFORE you get your order of food - we were told it was because some yobs had 'done a runner' without paying - huh...so every decent person has to pay for their behaviour. The food is practically thrown at you and the waitress didn't speak enough English to be able to understand what we wanted for our sweets or starters. Grotty, smelly and in need of drastic refurbishment and new management !

Have enjoyed eating hear for a few months now but both my partner and i are suffering from terrible food poisoning from a recent meal there.

My experience at regards was brilliant. the food was to the top of standards and the service was outstanding. one of the waiters i liked was Saj a very pollite and entertaining person. the restaurant looks incredible as it is decorated with warm colours and excellent artwork. i advise people to give it a try. trust me you wont be disappointed.

a wounder full place to be and very help full staff with excellent quality food and loved the starters, but most of all a staff called tony, he was very kind and very polite, i will always be happy to go there and eat.

went in this place yesterday and had a meal that was very forgettable, poor service and in my eyes at £19.47 for 6 people including a jug of tapwater very pricey. Anyway have already booked for christmas so will try again

we recently visited on a recommendation from a colleague (thanks Blakey)and had a great time. Food was excellent made all the better as it was such good value, this being important as I'm not known for flashing the cash. Anyway we have booked for Christmas and look forward to much of the same value. Thanks to all the staff (any chance of a discount?)

booked up for xmas as its the cheapest place around, love the way food is so quick and vegetables so fresh must be out a bag !! Roll on the buy one get one free

The boil in the bag capital of the pub world. Service very quick due to this method of cooking so would recommend it for those with a busy life style. Wicked.

We visit the Crown at least once a week for lunch. The food is always to a high standard and the staff always friendly. The food reaches us quickly too making it perfect for a working lunch!

have visited this place twice as the decor is very nice and i felt it may have improved however i wont be going back as the service is dreadful, terribly long waiting times, items missing from the order, coffee arriving before desserts, and the waitress generally not knowing how to do things properly. dirty dishes where left deposited on tables, although she had started to clear them up she just moved them to another table and left them. very disappointing, also the manager/landlord has a very loud voice and was obviously trying to promote a proposed new building to his guests which where seated near our table - it was like charades!
