Found it to be very friendly and relaxing on a Sunday afternoon. The roast dinner was good with plenty of meat and the Beef and Guinness pie was excellent. The beer was also very good.

Farmer Johns – Sutton ColdfieldExcellent take-away. Food prepared in imaginative way using good ingredients. Lemon Chicken particularly good.
Lotus Super Kitchen – Sutton ColdfieldMy family and I have eaten here twice now and thoroughly enjoy it. The staff are attentive without being annoying and the food is very very good. Its quite a dark decorated place that you have to get used to, but definitely worth a visit
China House Restaurant – Sutton ColdfieldI am a regular at this restaurant and I always find the food to be excellent, the service friendly and the decor has recently been updated. If you can not find what you want on the menu just ask and they will make it for you. In fact they often make me different dishes when I go. Worth a try. By far the best Indian on the high street in Sutton and in fact better than the Balti triangle.
Jahed Tandoori – Sutton ColdfieldAs the most local place to us we have visited The Cock on several occasions so it's worth revisiting. In the middle of Wishaw, I would definitely recommend you book otherwise you might just be left with a 9.30 sitting. The food is typical gastropub fare, fragrant risottos, fat steaks and tasty pizzas. Food is consistently very good with the risotto and steaks being a must although the service can sometimes be a little slow. Highly recommended and whilst pizzas and pastas are good value the steaks on a par price wise with city centre restaurants.
Cock Inn – Sutton ColdfieldI've taken my family here many times in the past 10 years, the service is excellent, the food is plentiful, and never fails to please, with a wonderful choice of menu. We'll keep going again, great for that special treat.
China House Restaurant – Sutton ColdfieldThis is a very reasonably priced Asian restaurant. The food is very tasty and the portions are generous. The staff are very welcoming and the service is excellent. It's also suitable for families with children. The decor is a little dated but the ambience is great.
Dilshad Indian Restaurant – Sutton ColdfieldAs Robbie Williams favourite when he's in town, the Kebabish definitely lives up to expectations!
Kababish – Sutton ColdfieldVery good, a nice friendly place to go. Good service and good looking bar staff.
Beggars Bush The – Sutton ColdfieldI love Mother India! It's one of those Indian Restaurants that hasn't sold out. You won't find any stainless steel furniture, magnolia paint or wooden floors here! It's not all flock wallpaper and red shagpile either but its certainly more traditional. the atmosphere is very friendly and it's perfect for a mid-week treat or a weekend nosh (but book for the weekend as it gets VERY busy). The service is very good and the waiters try hard to please. Children are made to feel very welcome. They may even get offered a lollipop at the end of the meal. The menu is very traditional with all the usual favourites and the owner, Jonal, is more than happy to help you with your order. I have been going to this restaurant regularly for years and have never had a bad experience. I have had a couple of occasions when things weren't exactly right (nobody's always perfect eh?) but the staff were always happy to bring a replacement and you can't say fairer than that! All in all, a lovely restaurant. They even put your leftovers in a doggy bag to take home!
Mother India – Sutton ColdfieldColeshill Fish Bar, cooks food to high standards, and the staff are always full of smiles and are very friendly, that? unless you upset them. Honestly though, the food is nice and is not pricey. The staff are well mannered and polite. The main reason I travel for 15 mins to use Coleshill Fish Bar is because I love the service they offer. I once had to order food that I didn? know about (ONE OF THE GREAT SPECIALS) and the staff where very helpful. So overall COLESHILL FISH BAR is un-beatable.
Coleshill Fish Bar – Sutton ColdfieldMy boyfriend and I visited on the Sunday before Valentines Day. The staff were friendly and the meal was very nice. We will definitely return and would recommend it to others.
ASK – Sutton ColdfieldMy friends and I often go for meals here. Always enjoy it and look forward to going back. Really good, inexpensive food, free salad bar, attentive staff. Would definitely recommend it.
Boldmere Harvester – Sutton ColdfieldThe Blake Barn provides two for one dining. We chose steak and scampi. The food was well cooked and tasty with an excellent salad garnish. The staff are all lovely, This is a very popular local pub which I would recommend but, get there early!
Blake Barn The – Sutton ColdfieldLovely food at this Balti House and the staff are very friendly and efficient, the only downside is the fact that the premises is very small and tends to be a little cramped especially if there is a large group of you.
Streetly Balti – Sutton ColdfieldWe often visit with a rowdy bunch of children with special needs for the early bird menu. This is always value for money and the children? meals are varied with different sized portions, great for our kids. We are always welcomed and catered for in any way we need. Some of our children are on special diets and food is adapted if requested. No matter how much mess and noise we make we are always welcomed back, so much so that there are 30 of us going for our Christmas meal! Watch out here we come!
Boldmere Harvester – Sutton ColdfieldHaving read the reviews of some Sutton? restaurants, I felt that I needed to write this one. For the best curry house in the area. Which I have been going to for more than 30 thirty years now. Like a lot of Sutton folks, I myself had my first Indian culinary experience in this unique Sutton restaurant. The location is ideal, as Boldmere is a great place to go for a drink, with its many friendly and welcoming public houses and bars. And nothing caps of a night out there, than ending up at the Bengal. Having been there with parents when I was young, while I was courting, then with my husband, kids later on, and most recently with grandchildren. Service standards never slip, always has a good atmosphere, never any idiots or drunken louts there. The quality of food has always been of the highest standard, and most importantly it's consistent. The place offers a large menu, with a lot of variety. Highly recommend the Baltis if you like it spicy, if not the butter chicken is second to none!
