Fantastic Sunday Roast the best I have ever had and the service was also very good will be defiantly going back

We were a party of 10, all our meals came at the same time, everyone enjoyed their meal, all the food was very tasty! The cocktails were great! The ladies that served us were very polite and attentive. We will 100% be returning

We recently visited, the food was lovely. The chicken wings have always been my favourite and they didn’t disappoint. I would have given a 5 for the food, the only reason I gave a 4 was because the kebab could have had a little more chicken on it. Apart from that everything was delicious. The service was fantastic, would definitely recommend and visit again.

Great service and lovely atmosphere, we really enjoyed our evening. My main, the seafood claypot was a little overcooked and very tomato swamped. Everything else was brilliant

We recently ate at the alvanley arms , it's a beautiful country pub with a nice seating area outside , the food was lovely ,all fresh and piping hot the cheese and onion pie is unreal ,everything everyone had in our group enjoyed it ,couldn't fault it and the service was also spot on .

It was my first time here so didn’t know what to expect, but the service was phenomenal, all the staff were lovely and courteous. We didnt feel rushed and it was all lovely and relaxed. The food was amazing too. The portion sizes are great for the money. We left very full!

Great food but poor service, initial waitress left us for 20 mins on the drink order, then had to come back to check what we wanted again. It took another 10 mins before she took our food order. Unprofessional appearance of initial waitress.

Called in on a Saturday afternoon after not visiting for many years. Both our meals were well presented and tasted great. Staff very welcoming and will be returning. I have awarded 5/5 as we went when the England game was on and so it was very quiet but that was not the restaurants fault.
