This is the first time I had visited Bustopher Jones in a number of years, but what an improvement! Very nice to see a varied menu with some exotic dishes.

Bustophers Bar and Bistro – TruroHave held several funtions here, always received first class service from a small friendly team. Fantastic Wine list.
Bustophers Bar and Bistro – TruroMannings is a lovely little pub, but the food may be a bit over rated, but this must be because they cateer for many people, worth a go
Mannings – TruroGreat variety in the menu from mussels to pizzas and it is very pleasant to sit in the conservatory or outside in summer.
William IV – TruroProbably the best steak I've ever had.
Brayfell Inn, The – Trurowe have been regular visitors to this restaurant for many years and if you want a good chinese in Cornwall this is without doubt the very best place to go forget the price enjoy the experience
Eastern Promise – TruroNot wholly vegetarian but quite a few choices. Lovely salads but they tend to run out of jacket potatoes fairly often. Totally non-smoking, not open in the evenings unfortunately.
Fodders – TruroI have been here several times now and can honestly say that I have really enjoyed the excellent food. However the last time I went, despite booking a table well in advance and it being a quiet Tuesday evening, it took an hour to seat us and a further hour to get our main course. We asked several times what was taking so long to get us seated but received no satisfactory answer. It was not full, in fact we could see several available tables and as I said we had booked a table which they acknowledged. Despite this we enjoyed the meal, this is definitely a more upmarket Indian and the restaurant is very clean and modern.
Baba Indian Restaurant – TruroWe buy take-away from this restaurant at least once a week and the food is excellent, the staff and owner are very friendly and welcoming. The last reviewer must have got out of the bed the wrong side on the day he/she went there! Try again you will not be disapointed.
Baba Indian Restaurant – TruroYou take no notice of the last report you received, obviously looking for your average cheap Indian, tell thm to go to Burger King in the future it will be more up their street.
Baba Indian Restaurant – Trurono comments
Ganges – TruroI have to disagree with the other reviews. Although the food was tasty, the portions were extremely small for an Indian restaurant & the staff were not helpful when asked about vegetarian options. The bill was a shock, I consider this restaurant to be very overpriced. I can only speak from personal experience - we will not be going back to this restaurant.
Baba Indian Restaurant – TruroThis restauarant is warm and inviting and the decor is smart and more upmarket then your average indian restaurant. The food and its presentation are both fantastic and the atmosphere is great, this is our first stop when we feel like an Indian -highly recommended.
Baba Indian Restaurant – TruroFrom the moment you walk in staff are welcoming and friendly. The quality of the food is exceptional and the service cannot be faulted. We visit the restaurant each month. The menu is so extensive it is impossible to get bored although we have our favourite dishes!
Baba Indian Restaurant – TruroThe waters echo blue, and for a moment, your eyes shielded from the sun as you scan the yacht filled bay, you are back in the med. The set three course dinner at £33.00 continous the theme, pan fried red mullet for me and a bruschetta of pate negra and tomato for my partner, both light and satisfying. Followed by local raised fillet of beef with gratin potatoes and for me seared John Dory with mash potato balanced with brocoli and pancetta. We finish our wine and attacked the desserts, of panettone bread and butter pudding off set delightfully with cinnamon ice cream, and the local cheese board with home made oak cakes. Relaxed and satisfied we pondered the evening now darken the light-house pale in the warm sky. For a no fuss, relaxing evening out with simple clean food echoing the med you could not do better than the Tresanton
Hotel Tresanton – Trurothis has got to be the best indian restaurant in cornwall by far. great food and great service, we now visit the restaurant a least twice a month.
Baba Indian Restaurant – TruroThis must be the best Italian in Truro, we had lunch on a tuesday and the place was packed and buzzy, the waiters, who all must be related were shouting orders at each other and laughing and joking, we ate pasta and pizza, both were exeptional and very authentic. Although its not cheap its a really good experience and well worth it.
