Farmers Arms – UlverstonGood wholesome and fresh food and nice pub atmosphere. Reasonable prices too.
Farmers Arms – UlverstonThe pub very very nice but the veggie burger came with cold fries and a vege pate which fell to pieces. Not worth the fifteen pounds charged, very small plate....
Farmers Arms – UlverstonThe pizza is fantastic. Properly done in pizza oven.
Farmers Arms – UlverstonLovely meal. Chilli chicken and rice. Well presented
Kings Arms – UlverstonDelicious
Farmers Arms – UlverstonWe came because of an article in the Guardian online on lesser known parts of Cumbria, and I'm glad we did. Best pub we visited by far. Food was delicious - the chips in particular are really good, although everything was tasty. It was our last night of holiday but would definitely return another time.
Farmers Arms – UlverstonA truly authentic and original pub experience in a beautiful Lakeland location with easy parking. Delicious food, loved the home made horse radish. Service was great however it was clear they were understaffed on the day. I would definitely recommend The Farmers Arms.
Farmers Arms – UlverstonWe visited The Farmers Arms as a group of four this weekend. We love this community pub and we're keen to share another Farmers Arms experience with visiting friends. As always the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a freshly cooked, locally sourced meal accompanied by great beers from the region. We will visit again very soon. All the ingredients are there for a perfect evening with friends- relaxing and thoughtfully created environment- friendly and helpful staff- a daily menu made with locally sourced ingredients and good beer. Icing on the cake too!! The shop space with handmade items that you can peruse for that special object to top the evening off!
Farmers Arms – UlverstonHaven't been for a while really enjoyed the food. Service was great.
Kings Arms – UlverstonThe Farmers Arms at Lowick Green was recommended by the host of our Airbnb holiday home. A party of 7, we were made to feel very welcome on arrival. The staff were friendly and looked like they really enjoy their work. We sampled a range of the local ales and lagers, delicious!! Whilst the menu is not extensive, there was something to appeal to everyone and we thoroughly enjoyed our food. We loved the 70’s vibe and decor .
Farmers Arms – UlverstonGreat atmosphere with friendly staff - food, limited choice but excellent quality on ‘pizza Thursday’
Farmers Arms – UlverstonLovely little pub, staff were friendly and welcoming
Farmers Arms – UlverstonHad a meal at the pub twice during our stay. Excellent food and great atmosphere.
Farmers Arms – UlverstonAs ever the food (a cassoulet) was delicious. The Farmers Arms is unquestionably the best pub for a meal in the South Lakes.
Farmers Arms – UlverstonAlways a wonderful meal. Select no.7 if you dare.
Kings Arms – UlverstonWent for lunch on Sunday, food was very good all being abit cold, but was very tasty. We did have to wait over an hour for our food. There was also a dog which came from upstairs that kept escaping into the bar, which wasn’t a problem, the problem was the way it was caught and dragged by its collar and thrown upstairs, several times. I felt very un comfortable with this so we left.
General Burgoyne – UlverstonWent for Mother's Day... food was great, staff were friendly, however service was slow, seemed they were understaffed. Was no table service for drinks, and the drinks were flat. Didn't get dessert as the wait was so long. Would definitely try again in the future to see if service has improved as could not fault the food.
General Burgoyne – Ulverston3 courses, £15.95. Available 5pm-6.30pm weekdays.
2 courses for £24 (roast and pudding).
