Red Chilli II – Wakefieldtasty beers ,food and barmaids.
Bay Horse Inn – Wakefieldgreat two for one offers and the service of the staff were very high class
Old Mill, The – WakefieldPopular, modern and very welcoming- a great restaurant to dine at, whether it be for an exciting Saturday night out, or a quiet Tuesday tea-time. Particularly friendly waitress and waiter; only adding to the exceptional atmosphere! Highly recommended.
Capri Horbury – WakefieldI have been visiting the Shabana restaurant for a few years now and cannot recommend it enough. The food is of a high standard always. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Keep it up guys.
Shabana Restaurant – WakefieldWOW. Fantastic freshly cooked food at even more fantastic prices. I would have to say the BEST place to eat in Wakefield. Goats cheese tartlet followed by fish in tempura batter homemade chips and mushy peas, friend ate chicken wontons and Monkfish roulade. All fantastic, just wish we were able to try everything on the menu.
The Three Houses Inn – WakefieldRed chilli 2 is a pleasure to dine in; it? always lively with a fun atmosphere. The staff at times can be really busy but will always try to make time to give the best service with a smile. The menu consists of a wide range of dishes. Have been having curries for about 10 years and have never had anything better then red chilli, readers you must try ostrich or venison they go lovely in a curry.
Red Chilli II – Wakefieldbrilliant, i just love this place. the food and waiters are divine! just divine! i almost like the food as much as the waiters ha ha ha
Rinaldis – WakefieldPaula, the Landlady is always welcoming and her expertise as a chef and Pub Manager are evident in her food offerings and in her choice of staff. Speciality nights, usually every other Thursday (twice monthly), currently alternate between a fish night (sample: starter full dressed crab and salad followed by King Prawn, Monkfish and Scallop Skewer covered in Tikka Sauce and served with rice) and then a steak night (fillet, rib-eye, sirloin). The price, £21 for two at time of posting includes a full bottle of white or red wine per couple. The freshly prepared and home cooked food is excellent, whether it is a baguette and chips, fillet steak or Fisherman's Pie to name but a few. The chunky chips at this pub are fantastic. If you've forgotten how good real chips can be you should remind yourself sometime soon by visiting The Plough at Warmfield
Plough Inn, The – Wakefieldvery good place for special occasions, and never had any problems with the food or service. Portion sizes look small BUT very filling so don't be fooled.
Thai on the Square – WakefieldFood is wonderful. Tasty, filling and great value for money. Use the takeaway and save even more money.
Shahi Tandoori – WakefieldAn enjoyable place to dine, especially in the conservatory area on a summer evening. Food very good, atmosphere somewhat noisy, but to be expected of a popular place. However, the recent extension to the front has created more space, but the tables are a bit close, giving a slight claustrophobic feel, and the noise level can increase to beyond comfortable. It still remains a pleasant to dine, but only on a quite evening.
Capri Horbury – WakefieldI went to the Rhubarb Triangle && it was amazing, the food was gorgeous && they gave a nice amount. Not too much, not too little. The staff were friendly and had smiles on their faces at all times, which i think is important. The next day i then discussed it with a friend, and she said how nice it is, so we arranged for us 2 and 7 other friends to go. We look forward to it =]
Rhubarb Triangle Brewers Fayre – WakefieldExcellent food, staff very friendly and made you feel special, atmosphere like you where in India best restaurant in the group go 3 times a month better than restaurants in London
Aagrah Restaurant – WakefieldWe first tried the Shabana when my Wife and I visited from Germany last December having read reports of its opening in the local papers. We both fell for the Bangladeshi cuisine straight away. We are at the back end of this years visit to Wakefield and have eaten there three nights on the trot (pun)! Need I say more?
Shabana Restaurant – WakefieldThis is a super place - go early and get really good deals - all mains £4.95 (I think). Pizzas are great but so is everything else. Starters are generous and desserts are all homemade. Small but really good feel to it. We have been back often -say no more!
Prego Pizzeria – WakefieldI had been recommended to prego by a friend normally im not a fan of pasta and pizza but ive changed my mind. Its a small restaurant but it has a nice feeling to it and the pizzas are huge and you can watch them being freshly made in an open oven. Its not the normal microwaved rubbish that you often get . Its nice to taste fresh food.
Prego Pizzeria – WakefieldA prize find. Great food hidden on the end of town. Shouldn't be writing this here, cos more people will check it out and turn into regulars!! Nice staff, fantastic food, will be back for more!!
Raj Poot India Restaurant – Wakefield
