Friendly welcome. Good service. Table poorly situated in back annex next to kitchen door. Decent food though server forgot side dishes. Great chips!

The Victoria Inn – BarmouthThe menu did not look very different to many 'gourmet pub' menus, and we were almost persuaded to try elsewhere, but the recommendation prevailed, and we booked. So glad that we did, because while the menu resembled aspiring gourmet pubs with active microwaves, the food very much did not. It was splendid. Clearly this restaurant has mastered.the art both of shopping and of cooking, as everything was excellent. My only sadness about this meal was that it was eaten while on a short break nearby, and I will not be able to repeat the experience any time soon. Those of you who live near, go frequently; visitors, don't miss it!
