I might wish that young people in general, but the waitress in particular did not keep repeating “no problem” with each enquiry - did we want water, what wine did we want, our meal choices etc.,

Goodfellows never fails to impress. The food us always five star and the service is second to none. It is always a treat to come here.

We visited Restaurant 7B on Friday 13th to celebrate 20 years together. We have also had the great pleasure of eating Adam’s cuisine since he first opened his restaurant 20 years ago too. The food is always absolutely outstanding and Martine & Rene are the most welcoming front of house hosts. The care and attention to detail in the preparation, cooking and presentation's of the superb food makes the perfect dining experience.

Our new favourite place. Every meal we have had has been exceptional. Excellent choice on the menu of real quality food beautifully cooked and presented. The staff are lovely and know the menu well. The chef clearly is very good ! We also highly recommend to our B&B guests as one of the best places in the area to eat.

We thoroughly enjoyed an evening meal at Goodfellows. My husband had the tasting nenu and accompanying wines and I ordered the scallops. It was probably one of the best meals we've enjoyed, served with knowledge of the food and wines. If we lived closer, we would be back in an instant. Thank you!

Excellent Sunday roast, friendly atmosphere

As always, each time we visit Wells, we grab the opportunity to eat at 7B Goodfellows with both hands. The lunch set menu is delightful, cooked & served by people who understand what great food & service looks like. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal (as always) and my Aunt who dined there for the first time said it was the best meal she'd ever had! Lovely people, lovely setting. We just wished we lived closer, we'd go there all the time. Thank you to everyone for making my aunt's birthday one to remember.

Brilliant meal, as usual, at 7B. Great menu choices, all superbly cooked and delivered by friendly, knowledgeable front of house team. Advice on accompanying wine was spot on too. I have no doubt that we will be back again. Well worth travelling to.

Excellent restaurant, with welcoming staff serving outstanding quality food! Good range of options on the menu. Portions a little modest in size but very well presented and tasted delicious. Will definitely return.

I booked for a party of six, and we had an excellent evening and our menu choices were very varied across the group. The food was very good and the staff were excellent, particularly Mary who was assigned to our table. I had some fussy people with me and they left very happy with their evening, and it was in no small part due to Mary's patience and people skills. What a pity that I was just visiting the area and the Olive Tree is so far from my home.

As always at Goodfellows - a truly wonderful dining experience. Excellent food, excellent welcome and service, and a lovely setting. Goodfellows at 7B is simply the best.

Wonderful dinner, the food was excellent from starter to dessert. Charming restaurant with just the right ambience. Service great and real value for money. Will most definitely book again when next in Wells.

Best burger either of us have had in a very long time, and great service.
