The Covid rules were being adhered to which was very good to see. All employees were wearing masks & the tables were an acceptable distance apart. The food was delivered at an acceptable time after ordering & all the food was very hot & attractively presented. My vegetarian curry was very good with lots of variety of vegetables. My favourite sweet at this restaurant is toffee banana & tonight it did not dissapoint absolutely delicious . My husband & daughter had sizzling dishes, oysters & prawns. Both looked delicious & the portion sizes were very good hence no sweets could be managed by them. A very enjoyable meal & very polite & efficient service. Prices reasonable.

Delicious meals for a party of 4. We enjoyed the fish, steak and lamb rump and the petit fours were a triumph. Friendly staff and sensible prices. All very efficient.

Really enjoyed our meal here. I especially enjoyed the seafood pancakes with homemade kimchi. It was nice to try some alcoholic drinks which were new to me. Very friendly service.

The lady looking after us was friendly, interested in what we wanted and were involved with. An excellent hostess.

Excellent dim sum as always. Everything was fresh and tasty. I especially liked the prawn dumplings, glutinous rice parcels, crispy skinned roast belly pork and salt and pepper ribs. Definitely worth the journey!

Had a fantastic meal at 31 Castlegate last night, the ambience, service and food were all second to none. Will definitely be back

Nice food - we had the vegan set menu, which was reasonably priced. Service was good. Bread was dry and not fresh, which was the same for our salad for both starter and main courses. Only two thin slices of bread was offered complimentary which I thought was a bit tight of them! Overall, a nice meal.

I booked a table online but when I show up for my booking the restaurant was closed and I ended up leaving hungry.i do not understand why they were closed. Just disappointing.

Booked to eat here because our hotel couldn't fit us in. The meal was so much better than we'd had at the hotel the night before. Excellent set menu. Very good value.

Dined here on the 28th May 2021. What a nice little find! Compact & unfussy menu with a good choice of "Specials" & a "Set Menu". Simple food VERY well executed. Staff were attentives & courteous. Recommended. Andrew Turner

Had our evening meal here on a thursday night the restaurant was quiet full but thats ok nice spacing between table meant it was cover safe. My wife and I dined from the set menu the food was was very good at a really reasonable price, whats not to like.

Excellent food, massive portions so be warned. Great friendly staff, wouldn't hesitate to go back. Only negative bit is you should get boiled rice included and not have to pay extra

Unexpected find but what a treat! Definitely worth visiting if you're after something a bit different. The table grill and jap chea were both delicious and the service was very friendly. Would recommend.
