The food was better quality than most of the buffets I've been too. It was all warm but not scorching like it's been just prepared but that is to be expected at a buffet. My favourites were the Hong Kong noodles, the satay chicken and the cookies and cream cheesecake. We came during restaurant week so only paid £15 each which I thought was reasonable. Not sure if I would pay the normal £23 unless I was absolutely going to make my money's worth. Staff were lovely, and I'm sure this would be great for families due to the array of options.

I came with my family here (4 of us) and thought service was a bit slow and not many top ups happening.Then that night 3 out of the 4 were ill with food poisoning badly and when asked for a refund we got told without proof from a hospital they wouldn’t do anything about it. I’ve also had lots of people tell me that this same thing has happened to them so will absolutely not be returning.

Warm friendly atmosphere, lovely lady showed us to our table, really enjoyed the food and free glass of boubly for mothers day was a nice thought. Defo comming back

We booked a meal at Oscars for our staff meal. From the initial inquiry, to the booking and the meal, the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. There were 16 members of our staff who attended the meal and everyone’s meals had been ordered correctly and the quality of food was excellent, everyone enjoyed the experience and their meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made sure everything was ok and that we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this restaurant to other people based on our great experience. Thank you for a fantastic meal.

As always, you have been my 'favorite' for many years (since the opening of Leeds in fact). York continues to excel even though its a 90 mile round trip but always worth it.

Good portions of tasty burgers and bistro food, great selection and friendly staff. Nice inside and reasonably priced.

First time visit for my birthday, shown to our table & then just left !! No return to see if anyone wanted drinks, so had to go ask a staff member, then again had to ask for coffee, food OK plenty of choice

Food was amazing with a lot of choice and the service was great. Staff were happy to provide a birthday celebration for my wife.

I’ve been here twice so far and would definitely go again! Lots of choice with food and better than cosmos, the food tastes good and staff are very polite. Only downside is that the 10% blue light discount is only for the card holder and not the total bill

I went for a surprise engagement with my family at Panda mami York and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The front of house team checked on us every time. The food was fresh and delicious, and the best part was that the chef was dancing to our African song. We were delighted.

When we got there we thought wow it looks amazing but we was let down badly the staff didn't speak a word off English they got our drink orders wrong the food wasn't great the chef didn't listen too my order when questioned they still put it on the bill even though it was there mistake hate too say but I will be not attending this place again

Decided to book during our visit to York, food was delicious lots of choice and staff were amazing and attentive. Would definitely come again thank you.
